Survivor Sailors - 11/8/08

Left 4 Dead's incredibly useful voice system is one of its least talked about features. Each Survivor character has over 1,000 unique voice recordings, and it has been brought to our attention that all of these are available in .wav format within the Left 4 Dead demo directory.

If you installed Steam in C:\Program files\ you'll find the voice sounds here:

C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\left 4 dead demo\left4dead\sound\player\survivor\voice\

You'll find mission-specific audio clips, all of the voice commands, the voices used in the commercial and more.

Being mature adults, we did the obvious thing and made a compilation of the Survivors swearing. See below.
