Left 4 Dead Configs

To bind keys, open up the console with the ~ key and type in the following command:

bind x command

Where 'x' is the key you wish to bind and 'command' is the command. An example is 'bind z noclip' which will put you into noclip mode whenever you press the z key (sv_cheats 1 must be set).

Voice Command Binds

By default, to do voice commands you must hold in one of the two radial menu keys, move your mouse to which command you want and then let go of the key. We have found ways to bind specific commands to any key you wish.

As an example, if you're a terrible player and need easy access to the 'sorry' command, and wish to place it on the t command, open the console and type:

bind t "vocalize PlayerSorry"

Now every time you press the 't' key, you'll apologize for whatever stupid mistake you just made.
